Game Fishing on Tobago
Charlotteville is home to Tobago's largest fishing fleet.
There are many other small fishing villages around the coast and local fishermen
arrange regular trips. Coastal fishing happens all year round and king mackerel,
barracuda, grouper and snapper are all prevalent on rocky shallows and outlying
coral reefs.
The offshore fishing season runs from October to June. You can catch some of the
world's most sought after game fish including blue & white marlin, swordfish,
sailfish,
wahoo, and a variety of tuna and shark. There is an annual fishing tournament
and anglers come from all over the world for the competition.
