Tobago has a reputation of
having some of the best and most varied diving opportunities in the world. As a
result Lonely Planet Guides have even published a specific guide: Diving &
Snorkelling - Trinidad and Tobago. Tobago has multi-lingual instructors,
first-class facilities and a variety of diving packages geared to the selective
diver.
Tobago's waters are full of nutrients as a result of currents, bringing food
from the mouth of the Orinico River. This provides for a wealth and variety of
marine life. Tobago is home to 300 species of coral, including the world's
largest brain coral, and the largest permanent population of manta rays.
Many of the reef formations are close to the shore for excellent, accessible
snorkelling. For those interested in exciting high energy drift dives, the moon
can have a dramatic effect on diving off the Atlantic coast. A few days before a
full moon the currents become rougher and less predictable, making for more
exciting. The seas return to normal a few days after.

Palmhaven has teamed up with R&Sea Divers to offer you an exciting new package that provides you affordable luxury and underwater adventure. This is your chance to stay in luxury accommodation and experience diving with the best.
